About Me - Jessie Dunbar

Hi, I'm Jessie Dunbar.

I have been making jewelry since high school, drawn early to the act of shaping meaning with my hands. Over the years, that curiosity led me through many styles, materials, and techniques, always following the pull toward work that carried story and presence rather than trend.

Though I earned a degree in architecture, my path stayed rooted in the physical act of making. I began silversmithing in 2017, drawn to the alchemy of fire, metal, and transformation. In 2023, I expanded my work to include one-of-a-kind handbags, weaving together a lifelong relationship with sewing and textiles and a desire to create pieces that feel both intentional and lived with.

Today, I work from a home studio while homeschooling my three children. My days move between sketchbooks and storybooks, quiet concentration and shared curiosity. The rhythm of this life shapes the work itself, grounding it in patience, presence, and care.

Wyrd Charm is where these threads meet. It is my space for creating slow-made jewelry, bags, and talismans for modern mystics. Each piece is designed to carry meaning, energy, and story, bridging the sacred and the everyday. Objects meant not just to be worn or carried, but to become part of the lives they enter.
